Aika Online: Dual Gunner 101

Before you start reading that bunch of junk data below, please do take note that this post intention was not to make it look like a guide. Rather, the intention is to offer a place where people could come and have a quick glance at what a Dual Gunner class could offer them or use it as a reference.

That being said, let me welcome you to the first post of the 101 series. *Clap clap clap~ xD

A Dual Gunner, often known as damage dealers. Your main role in a party would be to dish out large amount damage in a short time and to DO that, you rely on your equipments and skills greatly. (erm.. of course, when I say skills, it refers to BOTH Dual Gunner skills and the PLAYER skills. :p) Dual Gunners have a bunch of skills like the other classes. And below, I will highlight the skills that are more important to a damage dealing Dual Gunner, in my HUMBLE opinion, of course. :)

1. Poison Ivy.

One of the first skill you can get (Lvl 4). You should at least put ONE skill point here. This is a fairly handy skill as it allows you to root the target and stop it from moving. Trying to escape from enemy? Root it! Trying to STOP enemy escaping? Root it! Trying to prevent mobs from attacking your Cleric from melee mobs? Root it! Ok, you get the message... xD What? Yer asking how long the root last? Well, the higher you upgrade it, the longer it last. Huh? Yer didnt know skills can be upgraded? Noooooooob! :p

Ok, let's ignore the noob and move on. xD

2. Full Auto

You get this at level 12 and it will be one of your most used skill in a while. Basically, this skill let you unleash 10 bullets in a SECOND! Wooot!!!! Nothing to be happy about, thats a gimmick actually. =.=;; Because, the damage of your skill depends on the skill level, not the damage per bullet. Anyway, max it!

3. Maelstrom

You get this at level 19. Now, this black cloud of smoke is no joke. Although it is not a damage skill strictly speaking, its so call a damage enhancing skill. And it enhances your damage GREATLY! Upon the use of this skill, a certian amount of damage will be added everytime you attack your target - up to 10 times OR within 10 seconds. And guess what, Maelstrom treat Full Auto as ONE attack! How cool is that? xD

~.~ Huh? Yer don't get it? Ok, fine. I will explain further. Remember the gimmick I mentioned earlier? Full Auto fires 10 bullets in a second? Yup, you got that. Each bullet fire from Full Auto will have the addition damage and yet Maelstrom took it as one attack.

Example:
Let's just put it that you have a level 1 Maelstrom which deal additional 26 damage per attack. After you Maelstrom your target, you fire 10 normal attacks. The damage that you deal will be as below.

10 normal attacks + 10 x 26 = 10 normal attacks + 260 damage.

Now lets incorporate Full Auto into Maelstrom with 9 normal attacks.

(9 normal attacks + 9 x 26) + Full Auto (10 bullets + 10 x 26) = 9 normal attacks + Full Auto + 494 damage.

Can you see how much difference it is now? And it just get better at higher levels. So, max it. Next please! xD

4. Crossfire

*Please do not mind all chats in the above pictures as they are all purely fictional~ xD

Your first and only AOE skill for a very long time to go. You get it at level 32. Using this let you fire 8 bullets at EVERY target within 5 meters from you! And similar to Full Auto, the 8 bullets is a gimmick too. =.=;; But WAIT! That means that it works the same way as Full Auto in Maelstrom too! Thats right, little buddy~ You are getting better now. xD

Basically, a simple Maelstrom + Full Auto + Crossfire + 8 normal attacks combo deals HUGE damage! How much exactly? Hahaha. Calculate yourself, thank you. I am too lazy to do the whole fomula thingy now. :p

Well, there are still some more pretty cool skills for Dual Gunner. However, since they are all kinda self-explanatory, I will not go through them. Unless there are request for them. Hehe.

So now, lets look at the skills that YOURS TRULY have choosen for Dual Gunner, shall we? Those skills that I put only 1 point on them means they are handy to use but i do not see the point in upgrading them further. And of course, those are by no means the BEST build, just best IN MY humble opinion only. xD

Blade and Soul

Another upcoming game. Definitely is one of the most anticipated gane to come! Unfortunately, it is still in the works currently. O.O What? You have never hear of this before? =.=;; YOU NOOB! (kidding :p) This is what my post is for then :) ANYWAY... Regardless if you heard of it or NOT, This is one of the most anticipating game to come! (Huh, i said it already? Aww, just read on, will you? People are SO difficult nowadays. :P) Blade and Soul is a 3D martial arts fantasy MMORPG without the standard point and click~ Yay~~ Not much information about Blade and Soul has been posted except for the classes available and the inclusion of mounts. In the first place, what kind of great MMO comes without MOUNTS? Right?? xD Heck, even W.O.W comes with mounts. :p Err, ok.. FINE, there are other great MMO out there without mounts, wth. As I was saying, the classes available, as of now, 4 has been announced. Lets see what we have. xD

Officially announced:

1. Blade Master - Master of the Blade, able to summon blades~ Should be a DPS.

2. Kung-Fu Master - Master of the fist, Punch and kick all the asses of the mobs and maybe your friends. Melee user.

3. Force Master - Master of Magic. Summon spirit bombs like Sun Goku of Dragonball!

4. Destroyer - Master of Destroying. Lame~~ =.=;; Gigantic weapon(Great Axe) user. It is a melee type.

Unofficially announced:

1. Summoner

2. Cleric

3. Gunner

All unofficially announced classes are based on what I see from trailers = what I suspected. Hence, no flaming pls. xD

Damn! To be honest, I cant wait to use them all!! xD All of them look like hell lot of fun to me~ Well, except maybe for the cleric, hehe.

As you can see, it has got some really mean graphics to boot. Last I heard, Blade and Soul is due to release end of 2010 or early 2011. So make sure you start saving your pennies now for the next graphics card~ Ciaossu~ ^^

Continent of the Ninth

Its been said: A picture paints a thousand words. What about a video then?? So, watch it first. :)

This video is about the MMO, Continent of the Ninth a.k.a C9 Online. It is a 3D fantasy action MMORPG. The class of the guy playing is an Assassin (Most probably :p) and he is PKing the players of a dungeon. Confusing? From what I know, when players choose to enter a dungeon in the game, they are able to choose if they allow other players to enter and raid their dungeon. What is the benefit of this? Unfortunately I have no much about it yet. However, what I really want to point out is the gameplay. Players no longer just point and click the target then press the skill button on their keyboard for one million six hundred and fifty eight thousand times till EITHER the destruction of their 1. target or 2. the keyboard =.=;;. Instead, the player will need to face their target and unleash their skills in hack and slash game style, which I personally will think provide more entertainment, compare to just click and press press press press press press......

Anyway, this is no doubt a game to be waiting for. It is Free to Play and currently its in Open Beta in Korea. So, lets cross our fingers and wait for it to be out in English really soon, ya?

Aika Online

Game that I am currently playing. Yup, that is my character in the picture!

Published by Gpotatos, Aika Online is a 3D fantasy MMORPG game that is heavily focus on PVP. Boosting 6 playable classes, 5 Nations, Mounts (The bike I am riding on! ^^) @ level 40, 35702987+ different monsters [just some random figures~ :p], alliances between 2 Nations, A unique 'pran' system (that cute little girl behind me) PLUS not forgetting about Battlegrounds, Castle Seiges, Altar War, 1000 vs 1000 Nation Wars, one can already guess how PVP action packed it will be! However, for those of you that are a little shy to PVP or you simply enjoy whooping the ass of those nasty monsters ONLY, fret not! Because, there is a PVE ONLY server created JUST for people like you! But still, that does not stop some idiotic morons that is the same nation as you from PKing you. :( Do not need to worry though, just give a shout if it happens and most likely you will see a couple of (bored)Heros coming your way to help you out if you are not able to deal with the PKer yourself.

Hello folks! I am back! Just gave this dusty old blog a nice layout and template. Its as good as new now. Muahahahahahaha....

All right, now you MIGHT think: "So what if I am back?" Well, let me tell you this. Be prepared for the errm,,, hm,,, well,, nevermind. Ok fine, nothing. I will just update whatever I want here anyway. xD

It's a Wonderful World (Limited Edition)

Coming out in just another few days time, on the 27 July 2007. It's a Wonderful World Limited Edition by Square Enix is the only gloss sliver limited edition DS lite on the market currently. There is no tag for the price. However, we can assumed that it will be going at around 21000 yen, as seen in previous released limited edition DS lite. Other than the fact that it is gloss sliver and it is a limited edition, I have not got any other reason that makes me wanting to buy it (and add to my collection). The print, from what we can see in the picture, is simple (too simple, I think). So for all those that is going bonkers all this, well, please feel free to get it at this link. (And now, to get back to my game...)
